Fairtrade Frock

This Fairtrade certified organic cotton dress from Bishopston Trading Company was made in India to be worn and worn and worn again. The now shuttered Bristol-based company was set up by Carolyn Whitwell in the 1980s to promote bonds between the Bishopston area of the city and the impoverished weaving village of KV Kuppum in southern India. The quality of this sturdy, dusty pink dress with appliqué flowers is rarely seen in children's wear.

This dress is marked a size 86, equivalent to 24 months. It is in good condition.
